JARO's Products JARO relies on its business acumen to bring in money to fund its activities. Its workshops produce handcrafted bookbinding, basketry and tailoring goods that wellsought after by both locals and foreigners. These products are sold at three outlets:- JARO's in-house showroom, the Holiday Plaza and the City Square. In addition, promotional sales are made, on invitation, at shopping complexes, hotels, hospitals and other venues. Income generated is re-invested into daily operations. Our workshops accept customized orders at competitive prices. |

We lovingly bind books and journals, or, carefully and painstakingly restore old and shabby books to very presentable and usable volumes. Our hand-stitched leather-bound volumes are recognized worldwide for quality and admired as a product of a dying art form. Our leather or acrolyn leather book covers are personalized with gold or silver embossed hot stamped labels and personal names. For our large jobs, we receive contracts from Singapore libraries, academic libraries such as the Universiti Tun Hussein Onn and the Universiti Technologi Malaysia. Almost all law firms, Law Courts, hospitals, Government Departments, schools and colleges in Johor send their documents to us for the needful. Very many photo albums and guest books orders are received by telephone, facsimile and email within Malaysia and outside such as Australia, Denmark, France, Hong Kong, New Zealand, Singapore, South Africa, the Channel Islands, the UAE, the UK and the USA. |

Our rattan basket are suitable for the office and home as well as for festive and special-occasion gifts. These range from baby carry-cots, wine bottles carriers, table place-mats, linen baskets, office in/out trays, dollhouses and lampshades. Heavy duty items include cane furniture, chairs, stools and hammocks. Customized orders are very popular as unique gifts. Customer often repeat orders because they have found our goods good value. Customers often send to us woven rattan chairs and chair backs for repair and refurbishment - a sought-after service because rattan-weaving is a dying trade, at least, in Johor Bahru. |

In addition, we have a yearly contract on supplying uniforms to the Hilltop School of Johor Bahru.
